BRISBANE, Jan 21 AAP - An uncertain global environment combined with rising expectationsshould make 2003 a watershed year for Australian tourism, a leading industry figure saidtoday.
Australian Tourist Commission managing director Ken Boundy said there was a chancethis year would be a "critical turning point" for the $17 billion inbound tourism industry.
In the past two years the industry, after recording a massive growth spurt in the Olympicyear, has stagnated or gone backwards.
