Sep. 21--ALBANY -- Richard Vallee, a key figure in what some police officials consider the world's most violent Hells Angels chapter, was convicted Thursday of murdering a government witness in Rouses Point 14 years ago.
Vallee, 49, had been a high-ranking member of Montreal's Three Rivers Chapter of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club. He was convicted of two counts of murder by a federal jury in Albany that had heard testimony from 30 witnesses over the past two weeks.
